Visa Requirements
Iraq Visa Information
Tourist Visa:
- Tourist visa is not issued for Indian nationals.
Business Visa:
- Passport with minimum six months validity
- Colored photocopy of the passport
- One typed visa form (handwritten not allowed; photocopy acceptable)
- Four recent passport-size photographs with white background
- Covering letter from the Indian company explaining the purpose of visit
- Visa approval required from the Sponsor in Iraq:
- The sponsor must apply to the Ministry of Interior, which forwards the request to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Approval process takes approximately 15–20 days
- Approval copy must be sent to the applicant in India for visa application submission
- Medical certificate from an Embassy-authorized doctor
Note: All applications are referred for approval to the Ministry of Interior.

- Visa Fee (Single Entry): US$ 40
- Visa Fee (Multiple Entry): US$ 100
- Processing Time: 06–07 days after receiving approval
